The Master's level training in Library Science and Information Technology aims to:


- Support the national information system or national information policy by spreading information awareness among


students, including library science students, and contribute to the advancement and improvement of information services in line with the latest global developments, particularly with regard to international standards issued by relevant international bodies such as ISO, IFLA, and ICA.


- Graduate highly qualified individuals, leaders, and human cadres capable of managing, organizing, and making decisions in the field of managing various information facilities, including libraries, documentation centers, and archives.


- Provide students with the necessary skills, techniques, and technologies to handle information resources of various forms and types, by being open to the latest scientific and technical developments in the specialty.


- Contribute to the development of the national economy and provide an experienced workforce through graduates of library science and documentation.


- Contributing to the national cultural landscape by preserving human knowledge in general and national heritage in particular, including manuscripts and various information sources and containers, and by processing, processing, preserving, and disseminating them.
