Training offers in Algeria allow for the development of a study path tailored specifically to the needs and evolution of the student's study project.
Higher Education Institutions offer students several access paths to higher education:
-Universities: Offer trainings leading to a Licence/Bachelor’s degree (3 years), Master’s degree (5 years), Integrated Bachelor-Master degree (5 years), Engineering degrees (5 years), and Medical Sciences Degrees [including: Medicine (7 years), Dental Medicine and Pharmacy (6 years), Veterinary Science (6 years)], and Architecture (5 years) as well as Phd Degrees in various disciplines (8 years).
-University Centers: Provide training for the Bachelor’s Degree (3 years) and Master’s degree (5 years), including Integrated Bachelor-Master programs (5 years), as well as Phd Degree (8 years).
-Higher National Schools: They are organized in field specialisms and offer a five-year training program, consisting of a two-year foundation course, followed by a three-year specialization. After successful completion of the initial two years of training, access to the specialization phase is contingent upon succeeding at the competitive entrance exam organized by the school.
