Support Structures

-Incubators: serve as hosting and support structures, ensuring the development of innovative projects and the valorization of scientific research products among students from various disciplines, who can benefit from training programs organized and led by incubator trainers and coaches, whose role is to induct them into entrepreneurial thinking and behavior. Student project-holders are guided from the initial stage of the first idea to the final creation of their projects after graduation. This space enables students to gain knowledge, express themselves, and actively engage in developing their business ideas.

-Entrepreneurship Development Center (CDE): As part of the strategy to link Algerian universities with the needs of the national economy, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in partnership with the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-Ups, and Micro-Enterprises, has established Entrepreneurship Development Centers (CDE) within all Algerian universities. These centers provide a dynamic space for interaction and the implementation of programs focused on business creation for students. CDEs offer comprehensive training programs covering all aspects of business management, from strategic planning and financial management to marketing and sales. These training programs are essential for equipping student entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to successfully implement their projects.

-Technology and Innovation Support Center (CATI): The CATI serves as a support structure for faculty members, researchers, and students in the field of industrial property by providing the following services: access to patent databases, assistance and advice in intellectual property management (patent drafting, commercialization, etc.), and support in business creation (trademark registration, designs and industrial models, etc.). The CATI was established through a partnership agreement with the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) under the Ministry of Industry

-Artificial Intelligence House (MIA): The Artificial Intelligence House is a dedicated space for exploration, learning, and innovation in the field of Artificial Intelligence. It promotes interdisciplinarity by bringing together students, researchers, and professionals from various backgrounds to whom it provides pedagogical support in integrating AI into their respective fields of study, thus fostering research and development in Artificial Intelligence within academic institutions.

-FabLab : It is a manufacturing laboratory dedicated to the creation and sharing of new products, allowing both beginners and experts alike to make new objects, repair or repurpose existing ones, as well as develop and test prototypes for students who are project-holders

-University Accelerators: encompass all programs designed to help mature innovative projects develop more rapidly by providing a range of specialized services, professional consultations, and intensive programs for a limited period generally ranging from 3 to 6 months. These accelerators assist in drafting business plans and economic models, enabling start-ups to achieve rapid growth.

-Business-University Liaison Office (BLEU): Its main objective is to strengthen the university’s openness to, and engagement with, its socio-economic environment, especially by promoting scientific, technical and technological research. Enhancing the importance of degrees as an additional value for the universities, the office serves as an interface providing a source of impetus, advice, and support for university teams and their industrial partners
