Analytical Chemistry

The Material Sciences program, majoring in Chemistry, with a focus on Analytical Chemistry, is primarily oriented toward the study of matter in all its forms, its properties, and the physico-chemical techniques of analysis. It strives to provide students with a strong and comprehensive general and fundamental education in the field of chemistry, while maintaining a balance between acquiring fundamental knowledge and gaining initial exposure to physico-chemical analysis methods used in laboratories and industry.

The main objectives of the Master’s in Analytical Chemistry are to provide students with:

• A structured training aimed at imparting both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of analytical chemistry.
• Training in environmental approaches, meeting the current demands of companies through impact studies and environmental management methods.
• Introduction and training of senior professionals in this specialty, especially since this Research Master’s in analytical chemistry follows a Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry taught in the Department of Chemistry.
