Higher School of Management Sciences - Annaba (ESSG-Annaba)
The Higher School of Management Sciences in Annaba was established under the executive decree No. 17-88 dated February 15, 2017, which transformed Preparatory School in Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences into a Higher School of Management Sciences. The school is a public institution with a scientific, cultural, and professional character, enjoying legal personality and financial autonomy. It is located in the center of Annaba city, at Révolution Boulevard of February 24, 1956.
Missions of the School
The school's primary missions are defined by the executive decree No. 16-176 dated June 14, 2016, which include higher education, scientific research, and innovation. The school operates through two main academic departments to fulfill these missions:
1. Preparatory Training Department: Provides a two-year preparatory program for baccalaureate holders. After passing the national exam, students pass to the second cycle department.
2. Second Cycle Department: Offers a three-year Master’s degree program in the following specializations:

The school follows the LMD (Bachelor-Master-Doctorate) system. Admission is open to holders of a baccalaureate or an equivalent foreign diploma.
Training is structured as follows:
· Preparatory Cycle: After two years of preparatory classes, students may take the national exam for admission to higher Schools.
· Second Cycle: Students admitted through the national exam can pursue a three-year program leading to a Master’s degree in their chosen specialization (equivalent to "Bac+5").
· Third Cycle: Master’s graduates may apply for competitive exams to enroll in doctoral programs at higher schools or universities.
