Program Overview

This is a two-semester program covering both essential theoretical mathematics (dynamical systems, ODE, stability, bifurcation, perturbation and reduction theory, PDE, functional analysis, control theory, optimal control, semi-groups) and modules applying these concepts to ecology, population dynamics and epidemiology. The course is enriched by the indispensable notions of programming and numerical analysis, as well as modules in English and professional ethics.

Teaching Language : Mainly French or English

Curriculum Highlights

Core Courses

The basic courses, which are not necessarily trivial, focus on dynamic systems (ODEs) and PDEs, as well as system control theory.

Advanced Topics

Advanced courses cover mathematical modeling in biology and epidemiology, system reduction methods, semi-group theory and optimal control.

Admissions Information
