Browse Programs Admission InformationThe program covers the essential foundations of hydrogeology, both qualitative and quantitative. It also includes key concepts in fluid mechanics, drilling, reservoirs, and elements of geophysics applied to hydrogeology. Particular attention is given to water resources, with data on their economic potential.
To provide a more comprehensive understanding of the subsurface, basic concepts related to the movement of other fluids, such as oil and gas, have also been included.
This training enables students to develop the necessary skills to:
• Explore groundwater resources;
• Manage water resources, whether underground or surface;
• Understand and mitigate the impact of human activities on water quality.
Fundamental Hydrogeology, Groundwater Hydrodynamics, Hydrochemistry, Hydroclimatology, General Hydrology, Drilling and Water Capture Techniques, Hydrogeological Modeling.
The hydrogeology graduate will be able to manage a project from start to finish. They will be capable of:
Access to this master's program is primarily reserved for holders of an academic bachelor's degree in hydrogeology or applied geology. However, candidates with degrees related to water sciences or fundamental geology may also apply, subject to a scientific review of their application.
