Browse Programs Admission InformationThis advanced academic training for engineers prepares you to tackle complex engineering challenges by giving you specialist knowledge in civil engineering.
Civil engineers sometimes need to specialise before they can tackle highly complex technical challenges. The first step is a Master's degree, which will give you specialist knowledge and training. You'll have the opportunity to study in a stimulating research environment with several laboratories in hydraulics, environment, geotechnics and structural and concrete.
Future
You'll be able to work in engineering consultancies, town planning offices, construction companies, the civil service and educational establishments.

Semester 4
Final Year Project
The objectives are to contribute to the acquisition of knowledge and to the training of the student. More specifically, at the end of the Master's degree, students should:
- have acquired more in-depth knowledge in a part of the sciences and techniques related to civil engineering;
- have developed a critical mind and be able to evaluate different solutions to a civil engineering problem;
- have demonstrated that they can present the results of a short scientific research project orally and in writing, clearly and coherently.
This programme comprises 30 course subjects reinforced by directed and practical work. The emphasis is therefore on knowledge acquisition rather than research training.
This programme is intended for holders of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, public works, hydraulics or a degree deemed equivalent.
Knowledge of English:
Although knowledge of English is not a condition of admission, success in this study programme is linked to the student's ability to read and understand texts in English. Students who do not have a sufficient command of this language may experience difficulties in their studies. Students must ensure that they have a good understanding of English and, if necessary, take steps to develop their language skills during the course.
