A/ At the level of awareness and understanding:
If we live in a pluralistic world in which we can no longer be isolated culturally, cognitively, politically, and economically, it is necessary to know the other in a scientifically systematic way, based on in-depth research and good tracking of all data. This requires many inputs from various sciences that complement each other.
B/ At the level of friction, behavior, and treatment:
The world is linked to each other by intertwined social, political, economic, and cultural relations; this has made our societies open, whether they like it or not, if not in reality, then in virtual spaces, which allow people of different faiths, creeds, and sects to get acquainted with each other This requires that our knowledge societies have those who can lead society in religious matters in light of global pluralism, in a way that preserves the religious, national and societal constants from all kinds of deviations and extremes.
C: At the level of theorizing and foresight:
It is imperative to form generations of thinkers who are aware of the global religious reality - not only Islamic ones - who undertake the task of studying the religious issue in its multiple forms in the world of yesterday and today, and then present their outlook on the future of religion in general and the relationship between different religious communities in particular.
C. Targeted qualifications and abilities:
With regard to the targeted qualifications and abilities, we summarize them in the following points:
1- Deepening the knowledge obtained in the bachelor's course; exposing students to new knowledge, while clarifying what awaits them as researchers in the near future.
2- Training specialists in religions in accordance with the training objectives.
3- Filling the shortage of this type of training in Algerian universities in order to serve the goals of the university and the aspirations of the nation.
4- Meeting the need of the Algerian society in this type of training to defend the fundamentals of the Algerian nation.
Any international student holding a baccalaureate (secondary school certificate) or an equivalent certificate, subject to pedagogical requirements, is eligible to enroll in the Master's program in open specializations.
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent certificate, subject to pedagogical requirements.
- If the applicant does not speak Arabic, they are required to complete one year of Arabic language training at the university's Intensive Language Learning Center.
