Browse Programs Admission InformationThe bachelor's degree in Urban Waste Management is part of a professionalization approach rooted in the contemporary challenges of managing and improving the living environment.
Faced with the growing challenges posed by urban, environmental, and societal changes, this degree aims to train competent managers capable of responding to urban waste management issues in an integrated and sustainable manner.
In line with the needs of the socioeconomic and industrial sectors, the program prepares students for effective professional integration by providing them with a solid foundation of scientific and technical knowledge, as well as an operational understanding of field realities. It promotes the development of transversal and specific skills oriented toward action, project management, and innovation in the environmental field.
Program Objectives
The main objective is to equip students with solid scientific and operational skills, in line with the needs of the socioeconomic sector, local authorities, design offices, and the industrial sector.
Spread over the first four semesters of the program, the core courses aim to introduce students to the concepts, methodological tools, and technical realities of urban waste management. These modules are organized around four themes:
- Foundations of the urban environment and territorial assessment
- Principles of waste management
- Analysis and representation methodologies
- Environmental sciences and technical tools
Les semestres 5 et 6 sont dédiés á la consolidation des compétences, á la mise en pratique en milieu professionnel et á la spécialisation dans des champs d’expertise ciblés. Ces modules permettent á l’étudiant de développer une vision systématique de la gestion des déchets et de se préparer activement á l’insertion professionnelle :
- Étude de cas et projets professionnels encadrés
- Approfondissement technique avec l’introduction des outils comme les SIG appliqués á la gestion des déchets
Immersion au milieu professionnel avec un stage pratique
Baccalaureate in mathematics, technical mathematics, and experimental sciences. Preference is given to those whose acquired knowledge focuses on ecology, the environment, hygiene, etc.
