Program Overview

Program Objectives:

  • Enable students to deepen their knowledge of civil contracts and liability through an in-depth study of the rules governing civil contracts, including their types, conditions, and legal effects, as well as the principles of civil liability, both contractual and tortious.
  • Prepare students wishing to pursue academic research at a higher level (Master's, PhD), whether in Algeria or abroad, in accordance with current regulations, by developing their legal research and analytical skills.
  • Equip students for national competitive exams, particularly for entry into the National School of Magistracy, by providing them with a solid foundation in contract and liability law, which are among the core subjects in such examinations.
  • Prepare students intending to pursue a career in the legal profession (e.g., as lawyers), through specialized training that covers both theoretical and practical aspects of civil law, including contracts and liability, which are essential pillars of legal practice.
  • Promote external engagement with the economic and financial sectors by encouraging partnerships between the university and these institutions for training and internship opportunities, thereby enhancing students’ integration into the job market and opening up specialized career prospects (e.g., real estate, banking, insurance, Islamic finance, etc.).
