Program Overview

The PhD program in the Division of Management Sciences majoring in Business Administration aims to provide advanced education in the field of business administration and provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this professional field. 

This training aims to develop competencies capable of linking the business cycle in institutions, with their various activities and specializations, and their practices within the framework of the teaching staff, in addition to enabling the student to master quantitative techniques and use statistical and standard tools, in order to apply them in the context of training.

This training also enables the student to integrate into the various functions of the institution and to be open to the theoretical and practical aspects of management in institutions, associations, local authorities and the public service.

It also aims to encourage students to contribute and actively participate in taking responsibility in the process of construction and training, by preparing highly qualified doctoral students who are able to assume the responsibilities resulting from obtaining this certificate, within the framework of a program specially prepared for this purpose, in order to serve the objectives of this training and contribute to achieving its goals.

Objectives related to scientific research

1. Promote research in the fields of business administration, human resources management, and entrepreneurship, allowing the student to acquire and expand his knowledge through lectures, workshops, discussions, and participation in scientific forums.

2. Improving the level of research performance of the student by activating collective research mechanisms and applying quality assurance specifications.

3. Emphasizing the role of the university and higher education programs in advancing marketing practices, and providing specialized competencies needed by the labor market.

4. Contribute through the topics proposed within the framework of this training to support the various research projects related to the participating research laboratories, as an extension of a research path that has existed for years, and includes various topics.

5. Meeting the needs of the labor market within the framework of the local development of the region, through the formation of highly qualified cadres capable of assuming high positions in the various departments of economic institutions.

6. Working to link the university with the institutional environment by addressing research topics prepared by doctoral students, bringing the distance between the two parties, and contributing to creating an open and participatory innovation environment and knowledge transfer.

7. Analyze the strategic behaviors of business organizations, identify strengths and weaknesses within the organization, as well as opportunities and threats in a competitive environment, and integrate them into the context of the global economy.

8. Developing research capabilities and capabilities in line with achieving the mission and objectives of overlapping and related disciplines, while supporting and encouraging scientific research in various fields of modern management.

9. Keeping abreast of scientific and research developments, and being open to the latest issues and topics in management sciences.

1. Developing the scientific capabilities and capabilities in the Management Division, in line with its mission and objectives, and keeping pace with scientific developments in this field.

2. Meeting the real needs of specialized competencies in business management, especially at the level of southern institutions and institutions operating in the petroleum sector.

3. Providing recommendations to businessmen and investors in the fields of marketing and information systems, helping them make effective decisions and choose between possible alternatives.

4. Cooperating with national institutions to contribute to their development, improve their performance, and benefit from the results of scientific studies and research supervised by professors of the Management Division.

5. Diagnosing the applied reality of human resources management in order to enhance it and improve its contribution to making strategic choices provided by the economic system and the operating system.

6. Contribute to the service of the local and national community through the completion of field studies and research within various institutions.

7. Integrating the role of the university and higher education programs in providing qualified human competencies that meet the needs of the Algerian market.

8. The use of quantitative analysis packages that use computer programs and their applications in various functions in business administration.

9. Presenting research projects that will contribute to solving the economic and organizational problems facing society and institutions.

10. Initiating development and giving the student theoretical and practical knowledge in establishing and developing new projects
