Program Overview

The TVS (Territories, Cities, and Health) program is part of an advanced training approach designed to develop experts capable of applying an integrated and cross-disciplinary perspective on the determinants of health. This approach enables a deep understanding of health-related challenges, such as socio-spatial disparities, the complex functioning of healthcare systems (in terms of service provision, activity, and access), and local health diagnostics.

The program also integrates the interactions between urban technologies, health, environment, and urban planning in order to develop strategies tailored to a variety of territorial contexts.

This master’s program stands out by training not only traditional health professionals but also specialists capable of innovating within local governments and public health institutions. With the multidisciplinary knowledge acquired, these professionals are able to redefine institutional relationships between healthcare actors and local authorities, placing population health at the heart of public policy.
