This Bachelor's program in Mineral and Energy Resources aims to offer high-quality training in the research and exploration of useful mineral deposits, both metallic and non-metallic, as well as oil and gas fields.

Curriculum Highlights

Core Courses

The program offers common foundational courses during the first semesters, shared with the Sciences and Techniques / Hydrocarbons track. Starting from semesters 4, 5, and 6, the training becomes more specialized in the following areas:

-Crystallography, mineralogy, petrography, hydrogeology, general geology.

-Structural geology, geodynamics, sedimentology, geology of Algeria, geophysics, well drilling.

-Stratigraphy, paleontology, basics of mining, petroleum and environmental geology, geological mapping.

The program also encourages student autonomy through personal work such as mini-projects, visit reports, or internships. These activities are supervised academically and administratively. This approach helps students build their academic and professional path based on their abilities, achievements, and aspirations.
