This specialization offers an in-depth exploration of anglophone literary traditions and sociocultural developments, with a focus on British, American, African, and world literatures, as well as the historical and philosophical foundations of Western and postcolonial civilizations. It also provides robust training in research methodology and academic writing, preparing students for careers in teaching, translation, and cultural analysis, as well as for doctoral-level studies.
