Program Overview

This third-year specialization aims to deepen knowledge in solid-state physics, quantum physics, and statistical physics, while developing skills in techniques for analyzing and characterizing material properties. Students study the electronic and thermal properties of materials, semiconductor physics, and the impact of crystal defects on mechanical and electrical properties. They also gain expertise in characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy, as well as in the analysis of polymers, composites, and nanomaterials. This training opens doors to various fields such as energy, microelectronics, and aeronautics, and prepares students for Master’s studies or professional integration in the materials industry and research.
