Program Overview

The IA-A option concerns Artificial Intelligence and its applications. It covers the basics of pattern recognition and image processing, decision support, adaptive agents and multi-agent systems, game theory, interactive systems and human learning.

This course enables students to specialize in the field of artificial intelligence, providing them with the basic knowledge and skills for the automatic processing of information in all its forms: textual, visual, sound and multimedia.

The course also introduces students to AI-related applications ranging from

image processing and pattern recognition, to advanced machine interaction, virtual reality, e-learning and bioinformatics.

New technologies and complementary tools are taken into account in the course content.
