Browse Programs Admission InformationThe objective of this training is to enable the student to understand the measures taken by the Algerian legislator as a foundation for modern criminal policy, which aims, on one hand, to protect individuals' right to safety and the enjoyment of human rights, and on the other hand, to provide means for legal assistance, prison reform, and the protection and compensation of victims—especially children—from various crimes, particularly cybercrimes, given their impact on Algerian security. It also includes the protection of personal data by ensuring the safety, confidentiality, and security of users' personal information and respecting their privacy.
The training aims to provide the student with knowledge of the various amendments introduced by the legislator in the field of crime prevention, promoting civil security, the safety of property, and addressing the leaking of confidential information and documents related to national security, defense, or the national economy via social media to the benefit of a foreign state or its agents, which negatively affects the national economy and undermines comprehensive sustainable development. Accordingly, the training equips the student with an understanding of the prevailing penal systems and encourages deepened scientific research in the field of criminal law.
It also highlights the latest developments in criminal law, especially concerning cybercrimes and forgery crimes, and the implementation of alternative sanctions aimed at investing in the capabilities and potential of incarcerated individuals and rehabilitating them through the creation of a favorable environment for their reintegration into society, based on the principles of modern penal treatment.
