About Us
the University of Constantine 3 Salah Boubnider is a recent creation; established by Executive Decree No. 11-402 of 03 Muharram 1433 corresponding to November 28, 2011, following the reorganization of the MENTOURI University of Constantine into three university institutions. It became operational during the 2013/2014 academic year.
Located in the university town of Ali Mendjeli, it is part of the five-year program (2005-2009) initiated by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika. It covers an area of 170 hectares, located 13 km from the capital of the wilaya of Constantine. It was named on February 21, 2017, after the mujahid Salah Boubnider.
The university consists of six faculties and one institute. During the 2017-2018 academic year, it had an enrollment of approximately 18,000 students.
