Program Overview

The core curriculum of the graduate program spans two years, after which students choose a specialization in the third year.

First Year of the Graduate Program

During the first year, students take foundational courses in the field of water engineering, including:

  • General and Applied Hydraulics
  • Soil Mechanics
  • Continuum Mechanics
  • Hydrology
  • Hydrogeology
  • Concrete Technology
  • Flow Regulation

These modules are distributed over two semesters and are organized into fundamental, transversal, and methodological units.

Second Year of the Graduate Program

In the second year, students take modules designed to prepare them for the different specializations offered in the third year. These include:

  • Drinking Water Supply and Water Treatment
  • Wastewater Collection and Treatment
  • Hydraulic Structures
  • Irrigation and Drainage
  • Pumping Systems and Pumping Stations
