Core Courses
Core subjects include agricultural drainage, irrigation systems, rural water management, pumping systems, and hydroinformatics. Special attention is given to crop water requirements analysis, irrigation optimization, smart irrigation, gravity and pressurized network design, SCADA systems, and unconventional water use. Four research modules complete the training:
- Research Methodology Project
- Deterministic and Stochastic Hydrology
- Solid Transport and Diphasic Media
- Turbulence and Mixing.
Advanced Topics
Advanced topics include precision irrigation, smart water management in agriculture, rehabilitation of aging networks, and integration of renewable energy into irrigation.
Emphasis is placed on flow modeling, soil salinity control, and climate change adaptation.
Final-year projects apply these skills to real-world cases.
