It is a general degree whose main scientific objectives are to provide students with a solid grounding in mathematics with knowledge of computer science and physics. It thus enables the training of students intending to pursue teaching, research in mathematics, or other careers requiring advanced mathematical knowledge.
The holder of this diploma has acquired basic and fundamental knowledge in mathematics: they master the fundamental principles of algebra, calculus, probability, and geometry.
At the end of the training, every graduate of this mathematics degree has general and transversal skills such as the ability to abstract, analyze complex situations, model or implement an experimental approach. They are able to:
Implement a mathematical approach, pose a problem, construct and develop an argument;
Reason logically and rigorously;
