Browse Programs Admission InformationThe Faculty of Law and Political Science at Batna-1 University adopted the L.M.D. system in the 2006 academic year, in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS), in order to improve the quality of higher education and keep up with developments in this field at local and international level. In addition, the orientation towards higher education open to an efficient and effective environment, enables discussion and cooperation with national and foreign partners, as well as with various scientific research institutions that facilitate the response to international challenges and the profound transformations that Algerian society is undergoing, particularly in the field of legal sciences.
The LMD system is based on the following stages:
- First stage: Bachelor's degree, lasting three years.
- Second stage: Master's degree, lasting two years.
Third stage: Doctorate, lasting four years.
