Program Overview

The bachelor’s degree programmme is structured over six semesters and is divided into three progressive stages:

  • An introductory stage focused on familiarizing students with university life and foundational concepts in their field of study.
  • An intermediate stage aimed at deepening and consolidating knowledge while gradually guiding students toward specific academic orientations.
  • A specialization stage that enables students to acquire in-depth knowledge and develop the necessary skills related to their chosen field.

This programme focuses on developing students’ proficiency in Arabic, with an emphasis on linguistics, classical and modern literature, grammar, and rhetorical studies. It aims to preserve linguistic heritage while fostering analytical and critical thinking skills necessary for careers in education, publishing, and cultural institutions.

Option: Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language & Literature

This programme focuses on developing students’ proficiency in Arabic, with an emphasis on linguistics, classical and modern literature, grammar, and rhetorical studies. Admissions Information

According to the regulations of our ministry of higher education and scientific research, students who wish to study at our Algerian University institutions must have the necessary qualification, attested by support documents which are:

·        Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent, for the admission to BA programmes;

·        University diploma or equivalent, for the admission to Master Programmes;

·        Master diploma or equivalent, for the admission to Ph.D. programmes.
