Program Overview

Analytical chemistry involves the study of qualitative and/or quantitative analysis methods that allow us to determine the composition of a given sample. The program is spread over two semesters, S5 and S6, and primarily encompasses fundamental units such as chromatography, separation methods, spectroscopic analysis methods, solution equilibria, and electrochemistry; methodology units such as surface chemistry and computer science; and discovery units, including one of the modules studied: health and safety. English and entrepreneurship are also taught as cross-curricular units. This program includes lectures, tutorials, and practical work according to the framework presented on this page.

Teaching Language : Arabic, Frensh and english

Curriculum Highlights

Core Courses

The training is primarily based on qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, separation methods, chromatography, electrochemistry, and surface chemistry.

Advanced Topics

Electrochemical and spectroscopic methods of analysis, surface chemistry, chromatography, training courses at hospitals and medical analysis centers.

Admissions Information

Studies of analytical chemistry, like the other specialties, are based on 6 semesters, the first 2 ones represent a common core in material sciences (math, physics, chemistry, computer science, etc.); the following two concern the Chemistry stream.
