The Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion provides scientific, academic, scientific and qualitative training for students in the field of Islamic doctrine and comparison of religions, with the aim of qualifying them in one of these specializations, which meets the needs of religious, educational and media institutions, through the study of Islamic doctrine in its various schools as well as the study of divine and positive religions in order to understand them more deeply and interact with them in a humanitarian context.
Objectives of the training
The training in Islamic doctrine and comparison of religions aims to achieve the following objectives
- Training specialists in Islamic doctrine and comparison of religions in a modern and original scientific training that interacts positively with its cultural and social environment and its contemporary international environment.
- Filling the shortage in the field of doctrinal studies and comparative religions in public and private religious, educational, media and national institutions, which do not have a sufficient number of specialized competencies in this field.
- Meeting the needs of society and the requirements of national identity, of which doctrine is the most important pillar, and comparative religions is one of its guardians.
C. Targeted Qualifications and Competencies
This training seeks to achieve the following qualifications and competencies
1 - Training specialists and researchers in Islamic doctrine and comparative religions to meet the needs of national religious, educational, cultural and knowledge institutions.
2 - Training at three levels: Licenses, Master's, and PhD.
Every international student is eligible to enroll in the first cycle (bachelor's degree) under the following conditions:
- Possession of a baccalaureate (secondary school certificate) or an equivalent certificate, in accordance with pedagogical requirements.
- If the applicant does not speak Arabic, they are required to complete one year of Arabic language training at the university's Intensive Language Learning Center.
