Browse Programs Admission InformationUnder this master's programme, students will be placed in a learning situation with the aim of exploring the various options for finding solutions that can reconcile the dynamics of innovation with the use of new digital tools in the field of urban planning and urban engineering.
The main aim of this course is to train students to be able to :
- Design and operate a Geographic Information System (GIS) to meet specific needs (urban reading, transport, housing, networks, etc.).
- Master the tools adapted to the city: MapInfo, ArcGis, open-source software such as QGis, etc.
- 3D modelling and imagery of an area or urban sector for design, construction or operational purposes.
- Use urban data and characteristics and analyse the results.
- Study urban issues: city dynamics, networks, flows, risks and
nuisances.
- Draw up territorial diagnoses incorporating a diachronic and multiscalar
multi-scalar approach to urban areas and engage in forward-looking thinking.
- Learn to design and use the data in a complex geographic information system.
information system.
- Use artificial intelligence in all urban planning and project development activities.
