Browse Programs Admission InformationThe program in the Branch of Educational Physical Activity is a university curriculum designated for the second year of the Bachelor degree. It prepares graduates to work in various educational sports professions through a two-semester academic path that serves a strong scientific and pedagogical foundation for more advanced specialization in the third year.
Students in this track study fundamental and directly relevant modules that reflect the nature of future educational careers. These include courses such as educational theories, didactics of physical and sports activities, developmental psychology, theory and methodology of physical and sports education, and applied pedagogy. Additionally, essential scientific modules support sound physical and sports practice, such as sports measurement and evaluation, biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports injuries, and first aid.
Upon completing the second year, students progress to the third-year specialization titled Physical and Sports Education consisting of the fifth and sixth semesters.
In this phase, students receive additional training that equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach physical and sports education in primary and secondary educational institutions.
The foundational modules in the Division of Educational Physical Activity cover the third and fourth semesters. These modules serve as a fundamental base for the scientific and methodological knowledge required in the following semesters. They mainly include two essential courses that are indispensable for any future physical education teacher: Educational Theories, Didactics of Physical and Sports Activities
The advanced modules in the Physical and Sports Education specialization are delivered during the fifth and sixth semesters. They aim to reinforce the student’s educational and theoretical foundation, enabling a better understanding of the specific requirements of educational work based on physical and sports activities. Key modules directly tied to professional excellence include: Teaching Methods and Strategies, Sports
Entrepreneurship, and Field Internship.
These modules provide students with the methodology and optimal approach to achieve the pedagogical goals expected from physical education within educational institutions.
Admission to this Branch and specialization requires the successful completion of the first year of the Bachelors program. Students must select this track from the list of available options on the academic orientation form. Admission is primarily based on the student’s ranking within their cohort and their future career aspirations.
