Program Overview

The parasitology degree is based on a comprehensive understanding of host-parasite, host-vector and vector-pathogen relationships. The curriculum is designed to enable students to acquire the fundamental techniques used in the following areas: the diversity of protozoan and metazoan parasites of medical and veterinary interest, the diversity of vectors of these parasites, in particular to give them notions of entomology, acarology and medical malacology, mycology, virology, bacteriology, parasitic immunology and the lasting interactions of host-parasite systems.
