Browse Programs Admission InformationThe Licence Production Végétale program is part of the Agronomic Sciences stream, in the Natural and Life Sciences field. It begins after a year of study in the common core (1st year), the student will be able to choose (depending on his or her grade average and choice) in 2nd year the Agronomic Sciences stream to be able to opt for the Plant Production specialty in 3rd year.
Given the role of agriculture in ensuring food self-sufficiency, this training enables students to deal with the various problems associated with this field. With a wide range of subjects covering most speculations, this training prepares students to face the different constraints that can be encountered in the field.
This course is given at Batna1 University, in accordance with the content of Order N°728 of May 14, 2019.

In S1: Animal biology. Plant biology. Chemistry 1. Physics1 - (mathematics 1 - Geology - Rural sociology - Agricultural geography - Computer science. Communication and expression techniques in English.
In S2: Plant biology. Chemistry 2. Physics 2. Mathematics2 - Climatology. Applied agriculture - Rural economics - Computer science 2 - Communication and expression techniques in English.
In S3: Plant physiology - Microbiology 1 - Biochemistry 1 - Genetics - Microbiology - Ecology - Cartography - Plant biosystematics 1 - Biophysics - Biostatistics - Animal biosystematics 1 - Precision agriculture. Communication and expression techniques in English.
In S4: Animal biosystematics 2- Plant biosystematics 2- Biochemistry2 - Immunology - Microbiology2 - Bioinformatics - Applied agriculture2 (field / practical)- Food safety. Communication and expression techniques in English.
In S5: Agro-pedology and fertilization - Irrigation and drainage - Plant genetic improvement - Seedling and seed production - Agro-meteorology - Production systems - Terminology - Phoeniculture - Plant morphogenesis - Scientific communication.
In S6: Field crops - Perennial crops - Vegetable crops - Crop pests - Experimentation - Aromatic plants and condiments - Agricultural mechanization - Harvesting and conservation - Crop growth models - T.I.C.e (Information and Communication Technologies in Education).
This training is given in all forms of teaching (courses, tutorials, practical work, conferences, seminars, internships).
Teaching methods depend on the subject:
- Lectures (CM).
- Tutorial work (TD).
- Practical work (TP).
- Personal student work.
Practical teaching takes place in the form of practical work at training establishments. Internships are planned throughout the curriculum.
A baccalaureate recognized as equivalent to the Algerian baccalaureate, according to the admission conditions set out in the ministerial circular (MESRS) for the registration of new baccalaureate holders.
