Program Overview

The objectives of the Master's program in Physiology of Nutrition and Health focus on training students in health biology research, targeting those from biological sciences and certain medical disciplines (Medicine, Pharmacy).

This training is essential to address emerging health challenges such as infectious diseases, genetic disorders, nutrition, cancer, and the impact of the environment on health.

The first year of the Master's program provides students with high-level fundamental knowledge necessary for specialization in the second-year Research Master's in the fields of nutrition and diseases with nutritional, metabolic, and immunological components.

It also contributes to the scientific research training in health biology by enabling students to:

  • Acquire a broad, dynamic, and integrated vision of the main theoretical frameworks and fundamental concepts encountered in the study of human diseases.
  • Gain the theoretical, conceptual, and methodological tools necessary for analyzing scientific knowledge in this field.

Keywords: Nutrition, Malnutrition, Intestinal Function, Lipid and Protein Metabolism, Nutrient Bioavailability, Nutritional and Metabolic Diseases, Food Allergies.

Teaching Language : • Primary: French (lectures, exams). • Secondary: English (scientific writing, research papers).
